This year I wanted to do something sweet and thoughtful for my very special Valentine. Who says you have to spend money to show how much you care? I started by using 5 white invitation envelopes, gluing the flap to the fronts of one another. I then spray painted them gold to give it a cohesive and expensive feel.
I cut out little felt hearts to place where the envelopes connected and used a piece of ribbon to keep it closed.
This is what the card looks like when you open it up. There were 5 different places to put little notes, cards, or other memorabilia.
I decided to write a poem using stickers and embellishments I had in my
scrapbooking collection.
This is how it turned out...
