As many of you know, Tyler and I will be moving to Charlotte, North Carolina in July - leaving us a short time to explore the west coast! A couple weeks ago we drove to Muir Woods National Monument, which is located just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. There was a self guided nature tour in which you are surrounded by redwood trees over 600 years old. It was such a peaceful and stunning environment - and of course I couldn't go without my camera!
Once we were done with our hike, we made our way over to the town of Sausalito. They are primarily known for breathtaking views of San Francisco and Angel Island, but they also have a delightful downtown area filled with quaint restaurants and shops. (I'll post the Sausalito photos in a couple days!)
Since our day trip, I have received my new Adobe Light Room Software! I have been experimenting and playing around with all the different tools over the past couple days and feel like I came out with some pretty neat images!
Here are some of the results :)
Golden Gate Bridge
Low saturation shots
Detail shots with "yesteryear" filter
Tyler likes this one because he says it looks like he is "The Chosen One" HA
Warning: This will come across as extremely cheesy.
I loved this tree because their roots and foundation were one,
yet they were still two trees.
Playing with how focus and depth of field can completely change the feeling of a photo.
Next stop...Yosemite!
